Abstract
Kanker payudara merupakan sel-sel yang membentuk benjolan didaerah payudara. Penyakit ini kebanyakan menyerang wanita dan sering ditemukan dalam stadium lanjut. Kejadian ini karena kurangnya kesadaran untuk melakukan deteksi dini kanker payudara. Upaya untuk deteksi primer disampaikan melalui pendidikan kesehatan dengan media audiovisual dan alat peraga karena banyak melibatkan banyak indera sehingga akan mudah diterima. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan audiovisual dan alat peraga terhadap motivasi pemeriksaan payudara sendiri pada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan pretest- posttest control group design. Alat pengumpulan data adalah kuesioner. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling yang berumlah 36 responden, terbagi menjadi 18 kelompok intervensi dan 18 kelompok kontrol. Pengolahan data menggunakan Wilcoxon.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan audiovisual dan alat peraga terhadap motivasi pemeriksaan payudara sendiri pada remaja. Diperoleh ρvalue: 0,000; α:0,05. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai ρvalue < α.Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan audiovisual dan alat peraga berpengaruh terhadap motivasi pemeriksaan payudara sendiri pada remaja di SMK PGRI Pedan. Kata Kunci :pendidikan kesehatan, audiovisual dan alat peraga, motivasi SADARI. ABSTRACT Breast cancer is the cells that make up the bump in the area of the breast. This disease mostly affects women and is often found in advanced stages. This incident is due to lack of awareness to do early detection of breast cancer. Attempts for primary detection are delivered through health education with audiovisual media and props because they involve multiple senses so that they can be easily accepted. This study aims to determine the effect of health education using audiovisual and visual aids against motivation of breast self-examination in adolescents. This study used quasi experimental design with pretest-posttest control group design approach. The data collection tool is a questionnaire. Sampling technique with purposive sampling which amounted to 36 respondents, divided into 18 groups of intervention and 18 control groups. Processing using Wilcoxon. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of health education using audiovisual and visual aids against motivation of breast self-examination in adolescents. Retrieved ρvalue: 0,000; α: 0.05. This is evidenced by the value of ρvalue <α. From this research, it can be concluded that health education using audiovisual and props have an effect on motivation of breast self-examination in adolescent at SMK PGRI Pedan.
